Primary and Secondary Audience

Target Audience: 
Our target audience will initially be people aged 16-35, although the thriller genre is normally aged rated 15 we believe that 16 year olds are more likely to understand the symbolism and connotations which are included in Thriller films. We think that 16 year olds are that little bit more mature so they are able to engage with the film more effectively.

Secondary Audience: 
Our secondary audience will be people aged 13-65. We think 13 year olds purely because they would only watch a film because it is in cinema or on DVD at home, so even though they do not understand the concept and connotations of the film they will watch it anyway.
We then think 65 year olds as that is the retirement age so they may be willing to challenge their mind and experience different films due to maybe being bored with nothing to do.
