Why did we select these film actors?
We specifically handpicked these actors as we feel they are most suitable for our film. We decided to use a girl instead of a boy to be tied down on the chair as it highlights how the Clowns targets mainly women as they are seen weaker than men and more vulnerable. Also, because the Clown hides his real identity through his Clown outfit, it shows how he is a coward which is why he goes for women as he would find men intimidating and scary.
We chose Mason Marrable to play the clown, this is because his audition showed his strong, confident personality and proved he was capable of playing the role. We then chose Jody Cook to play the role of the tied up girl being tortured. This is because she had a high screaming voice which was suitable for the whole 'torture' aspect. She also showed good facial expressions which demonstrated how she could portray the role well. The final character we chose to play the girl walking to dog was me (Billie Ayres). We decided on me as I have a strong, confident personality so I will be able to play the role exactly how we want it to go.
